Indian Oil Limited contributed Rs 5 crore to Chief Minister Relief Fund for Assam as the state is reeling under devastating floods.

“A humble contribution of Rs 5 Cr to CM’s Relief Fund for Assam as a response to the ongoing #AssamFloods was handed over to Dr @himantabiswa, Hon’ble CM of Assam, by Shri Sushil Ch Mishra, @CmdOil, in presence of Shri @Rameswar_Teli, Hon’ble MoS, @PetroleumMin, @LabourMinistry,” tweeted IOL.

Meanwhile, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled the plaque to mark the laying of the foundation stone of OIL’s Guwahati Office and Skill Development Institute.

The office-cum-institute will be built on a 5-bigha plot given by government of Assam on a long-term lease.
